About the event
Come take part in the City Nature Challenge and help contribute to community science by documenting species at Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park. We’ll photograph and identify anything that walks, flaps, photosynthesizes, swims, or shuffles awkwardly using iNaturalist. We’ll also use eBird to record birds.
Our route will take us through a variety of habitats along parts of Tiger Lily Loop, Bowbend Trail, and Glenbow Trail. It is 3km long and includes some hills.
Participants are encouraged to submit observations to iNaturalist, but anyone is welcome to just come along for the walk.
The event is free, but registration is required. Please visit grpf.ca or register here: 2025 City Nature Challenge Bioblitz Walk | Programs & Events | Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation Store
There is no age restriction, but children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
